Rodan + Fields together with its Independent Consultants raised more than $1 million during its 2016 convention. The money will help empower students in need through the Prescription for Change Foundation and nonprofit partner buildOn.

More than 45,000 of the company’s Independent Consultants attended the convention in person or virtually, making it the largest in its history.

“We were blown away at the generous contributions from Rodan + Fields,” said Paul Boye, Chief Program Officer for buildOn. “To raise more than a million dollars in a few days is nothing short of extraordinary. The funds will support our service learning programs in high schools in six challenging U.S. urban areas serving 5,000 students.”

With its innovative virtual platform, Rodan + Fields  saw an unprecedented increase in Convention attendees over the previous year, with twice as many in-person attendees traveling to Las Vegas, and more than 32,000 Consultants attending virtually from all over North America.

“Following a period of tremendous growth, this year’s Convention was an incredible experience that exemplifies our innovative and entrepreneurial company spirit,” said Heidi Wissmiller, Chief Operating Officer of Rodan + Fields.
